Warnham CE Primary School

Welcome to the Parents, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA) of Warnham CE Primary School.

A PTFA is a great way of bringing together parents, teachers and others on a voluntary basis to raise money, support the school and make a difference for the children by enriching the school environment. It provides an opportunity for everyone to work together towards a common goal and is open to all parents, teachers and friends even if they only have a small amount of time available to get involved.

Our PTFA is a registered charity whose main aim is to raise much needed funds to improve equipment and provide additional resources to enhance our children’s education and the facilities in school which are not necessarily covered in the school's annual budget. Not all of our events are fundraisers. Our main profitable events are our Summer and Christmas fairs. The money raised from these has purchased new computers, cameras, books and helped fund coach trips for educational visits.

The current committee includes:

  • Chair - Amanda Brown
  • Treasurer - Toria Ni
  • Secretary - Melissa Savage

We also have representatives from the teaching staff and governing body as well as the Headteacher.

A full list of Committee members is available on request.
Everyone is welcome to our meetings and we're always searching for new faces and new ideas.  Please email us with any comments, enquiries or if you would like to join the PTFA.

We would like to thank everyone who has supported our events, made donations and provided raffle prizes.  All help is very much appreciated and makes a huge difference to the continued success of the PTFA in supplementing the school.

The PTFA has as Facebook page! Please ‘Like’ us at www.facebook.com/Warnham CE Primary School PTFA

Wish List Website launched!

As you all know West Sussex schools are hugely underfunded by the State and that our school, has already lost a specialist teacher due to these cuts. This situation has forced us to think of new ways to raise money. We wanted to provide a platform for parents, carers and supporters to easily donate towards items the school really needs and so, the Warnham School Wishlist website was born!

Our Warnham School Wishlist website lists items by School Class, School Necessities and Urgently Needed items. Donations are made by completing a simple form and paying through PayPal. We are pleased to have secured a preferential charity status PayPal transaction rate. Please note, you do not need a PayPal account to be able to donate. Donating towards the School's wishlist is completely voluntary and we welcome all donations - large or small. There is also the opportunity to let us know if you can donate your time, by emailing the PTFA at warnhamptfa@gmail.com.

This website has been built by one of our parents for free and it's ongoing running costs are being covered by local business, Business Espresso. Please be patient if you come across any issues with the site and let us know by emailing us at warnhamptfa@gmail.com. We hope you like your school wishlist website! It is a unique concept and one that the local press are extremely interested in and will be covering over the next week or so. We feel it could really make a difference to our children's school experience and please do share the link on social media and send to aunts, uncles, grandparents - anyone you think might like to help us!

We are very excited that, after two years of fantastic fundraising, our outside structure is complete!

We are currently busy fundraising by collecting any foreign coins or notes, even obsolete currency. You will see lots of posters around the school as well as the collection bucket in the link. Once all the currency has been collected we will send it to www.cash4coins.co.uk  who will exchange it for cash. The bucket will be here all year so donations can be collected on an on-going basis.

Easy Fundraising website:

We are now fundraising via the Easyfundraising.org.uk website.  This site lists over 2000 retailers including Amazon, John Lewis, Argos, even supermarkets such as Tesco.  When you are doing your online shop, if you go to the Warnham School page on Easyfundraising (link below) & then go to the retailers site via this site rather than direct, the school will receive a donation for every purchase made - it really is very simple!

Please save the date for our next main fundraising event - the Summer Fair on 8th July. We hope to see you there, either giving us a hand and helping out or enjoying the stalls, games, showcases and BBQ!
